Anger and frustration are emotions everyone feels and are completely normal and healthy, how one expresses and manages them is the important bit!
Anger becomes an issue
-when it is expressed in an unhealthy or unsafe way.
- When anger is the most felt emotion.
- When it is affecting the individuals around them.
Whether the anger is being externalised or internalised, session around how to manage these feeling can be beneficial.
In sessions the young person will learn how to recognise triggers and rising emotions. Begin and develop self regulation by building a toolkit full of strategies and mechanisms to manage their feelings.
